The Swank Autism Center at Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Research Scientist (open rank) to join our team.
The Swank Autism Center provides comprehensive clinical services for children up to age 21 years and conducts research and community-based outreach and training.
We are seeking applicants with demonstrable training and experience working in clinical and/or research settings with autistic/neurodivergent children, adolescents, and/or young adults, and their families.
The Research Scientist will develop a targeted research program in autism.
Current research studies or immediate potential opportunities are available in examining inequities and disparities in healthcare delivery, progressive assessment models, hospital-wide autism initiatives, adolescence/postsecondary transition, and other areas.
The Research Scientist will also provide some clinical services as a part of this role, which might include autism diagnostic services, individual/group therapy, and supervising trainees in working with patients and families from the larger Delaware Valley community.
This position will have joint appointments in the Swank Autism Center and the Center for Healthcare Delivery Science - Delaware Valley ( www.nemours.org/chds ).

Research projects span a variety of medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, cancer, cardiac conditions, obesity, sickle cell disease, cystic fibrosis, pain) and other health-related challenges (COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy, homelessness, maternal post-partum depression, racism).
The research scientist will join a multidisciplinary team including providers in psychology, developmental medicine, psychiatry, neurology, social work, nursing, and applied behavior analysis, as well as colleagues who are autistic and/or caregivers.
The Swank Autism Center has a dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator and CHDS has additional research coordination and data analysis resources.
The Research Scientist would have opportunities to precept trainees including externs, residents, and/or fellows who rotate through the center.

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for operations, maintenance and reliability within the Mentone Gas Plant or Orla Gas Plant.
The Supervisor is also directly responsible for safety of personnel, protection of the environment, and prevention of damage to systems and equipment through continual promotion of safe work practices and conditions.

SUMMARY
Responsible for forecasting, demand planning, procurement, and distribution of service parts for Subaru of America (SOA).
Creates purchase and transfer orders, monitors supplier compliance to purchase order due dates through continuous vendor management, and expedites parts that are in short supply.
Conducts the daily review of, and addresses and resolves, parts supply issues.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Conducts daily review of stock keeping units (SKUs) assigned in the planning system work queue to address backorders, projected stock outs, purchase orders, expedites, and inventory allocations.
* Chooses the correct forecasting method for each SKU and understands the concept of bill of materials (BOM) planning.
Develops seasonal demand forecasts and end-of-model sell down strategies as well as new model launches Initial Order Quantities.
* Conducts daily checks of identified or suspected data integrity issues and works to resolve or escalate those issues as appropriate.
* Analyzes demand on a daily basis and distributes stock across Subaru of America's (SOA's) parts Regional Distribution Center (RDC) network.
* Communicates and collaborates with SOA, Subaru Corporation (SBR), Subaru of Indiana Automotive (SIA), and any relevant internal departments at SOA to provide estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) and parts supply issue resolution, in order to provide the best parts service to the end customer.
* Collaborates daily with RDCs teams to process hot shipments and transfers.
* Adapts, innovates, and implements solutions to ever-changing supply chain demands, scenarios, and exceptions.
* Resolves receipt discrepancies and provides direction for defective inventory and part returns to vendors, including coordinating necessary activities with RDCs in the event non-conforming inventory is found to have been supplied by a vendor.
