* Preop orders and postoperative transplant care
* Participation in Heart Failure/Shock team protocols
* Participation in multidisciplinary rounds, review for appropriate billing
* Clinical Management of Advanced Therapies- Impella, ECMO, LVAD
* Complex wound management, chest tubes, pacing wires, sternal closure monitoring
Outpatient participation for patient work-up and continuity of care
* Preoperative evaluation- VAD and transplant candidacy
* Participate in transplant selection conference
* Coordinate care from inpatient to outpatient transplant clinic
Education:
* If Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.
