Job Summary
Reporting to the Billing Manager this role is responsible for the timely and accurate entry of internal pricing in our accounting system as well as payment of our material and haul purchases.

Job Responsibilities
* Responsible for the timely and accurate entry of material sales pricing in our Point of Sale and Accounting System
* Responsible for the payment of all incoming material purchases
* Payment of all haul invoices (internal transfers, incoming material, and customer hauls)
* Work closely with the billing department to resolve pricing discrepancies between vendor invoices and ticket information
* Work with the internal sales department on accurate haul pricing for customer deliveries
* Aggregate Scale Operator (Floater) - Ticketing and weighing trucks purchasing stone at plant locations
* Primary back-up for the receptionist - Answering and directing incoming calls to appropriate individuals
Job Requirements
* 1 year experience in Accounts Payable
* Associates degree preferred
* Proficient in basic Microsoft Office programs (word, excel, outlook)
* High attention to detail
* Excellent phone manners and communication skills
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance a variety of job duties simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Oversee and direct operations of an aggregates mining crew including personnel, equipment, trucking and materials.
• Supervise and direct crew to ensure proper placement of resources.
• Must complete required daily reporting.
• Maintain proper job records such as schedules, progress, payroll, equipment, safety inspections, etc.
• Maintain strong customer and supplier relationships.
• Monitor the need for labor requirements and coordinate requests through the Plant Manager.
• Conduct weekly safety Toolbox Talks training and internal safety inspections to ensure safety policies are practiced and enforced.
• Establish correct field calculations and communicate cost yields and accountabilities.
• Collaborate and communicate regularly with Quality Control to assure specification requirements.
• Track and record fuel usage, hour meter readings, and mileage reporting for equipment.
Other Requirements:
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
• Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
• Report to the assigned job site ready to begin work at the designated start time.
