We are seeking a Sr.
Assembler Language Computer (ALC) Application Developer to support our Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Masterfiles project.
The Sr.
ALC Developer will provide program analysis, design and development support, maintain source code and modify and/or upgrade code, and conduct testing and debugging, as necessary.
Location of work is 100% remote from home.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide design and implementation expertise to a cross-functional software development team.
- Design and develop software applications from business requirements in collaboration with other team members.
- Support testing and remediate defects.
- May mentor entry and mid-level developers.
- Update, test, and maintain IBM ALC software applications.
- Conduct Unit Testing, Compatibility and Volume testing of software applications.
- Conduct File Compares showing expected results after programs changes are made - comparing outputs from the current software application to the updated one.
