The Riverside University Health System's, (RUHS), Medical Center is currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Nurse for the PICC Team.
The essential duties of this position will include the following :
* Perform comprehensive patient assessments and placement of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC lines) and Midlines as ordered by the physician.
* Verify central vascular access device tip placement through chest x-ray confirmation.
* Assess and manage patients experiencing issues with central vascular access devices, and place peripheral intravenous catheters using ultrasound guidance.
* Implement, monitor, and evaluate care protocols for central vascular access devices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* Collaborate in the coordination and delivery of educational needs assessments for both patients and staff, and assist in the development of relevant special education projects.
* Provide ongoing support and guidance to healthcare teams regarding the use and maintenance of vascular access devices.
* Ensure adherence to safety and infection control standards while performing all procedures.
Required Licenses and Certifications:
* A current and valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
* A current and valid Basic Life Support, (BLS), certification, issued by the American Heart Association.

* Prior PICC/Vascular Access Nurse experience preferred.
* One year of ICU or ER experience preferred.
* Experience with managing central vascular access devices.
Additional Pertinent Information
* Eligibility for Specialty Care differential of $2.50 per hour for all paid hours, following completion of required training necessary and authorized to work independently for the specialty unit.
* Work Schedule: Four, 10 hour shifts, per week, (2000-0630),with a minimum of every other weekend rotation.

The I & E Technician modifies, repairs, or overhauls electronic and electrical equipment and controls.
Applies knowledge of electronics principles in determining equipment malfunctions, and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation.

* Participate in installing all instrumentation and electrical components safely.
* Troubleshoot problems with control systems and complex equipment associated with gas recips and turbines; generators, process plants, dehydration, control and pump stations; and gas chromatography.
* Run conduit, pull wire, change motors and maintain lighting systems and basic motor controls.
* Maintain, modify and troubleshoot Distributive Control Systems (DCS) and/or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to maximize use of control technology and minimize installation and operating costs.
* Maintain advanced monitoring devices (gas, flame, or fire detectors, vibration, and temperature monitors).
* The ability to read P&ID and electrical diagrams and other complex electrical drawings.
* Interpret plant electrical diagrams.
* Update electrical drawings.
* Install, troubleshoot and maintain end devices, alarms, shutdown systems, process controls, substation and branch feeders, variable frequency drives, air/fuel controllers, panel boards, etc.
* Perform preventative and general maintenance on electronic and pneumatic equipment and parts associated with this equipment.
* Provide training and technical support.

* Leads and participates in MOC process, HAZOPs, PSSRs, PSV studies, equipment inspections and other key processes/studies to ensure safe operations and compliance with Regulatory requirements.
* Troubleshoots operational problems and helps with optimization efforts.
* Plan, organize, and execute capital/expense projects (generally under $10MM).
* Prepare scopes in support of commercial developments, Operation's needs, integrity upgrades, etc.
* Ensure projects are designed and constructed in accordance with the Company's Engineering guidelines and specifications, industry codes and standards, and regulatory agency requirements to meet necessary functionality and performance requirements.
* Prepare cost estimates and schedules.
* Keep stakeholders up to date on project status.
* Prepare and review bid packages for equipment and outside services including consulting engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
* Make full use of Enterprise subject matter experts.
* Participate in reviews of designs prepared by outside engineering contractors, vendors, fabricators, and manufacturers.
* Ensure all safety/environmental requirements are incorporated into the project.
* Monitor field construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
* Work with Operations personnel to safely start-up new facilities.
* Ensure project documentation is prepared and filed appropriately
* Assist in troubleshooting operational problems and help with optimization efforts.

The Plant Operator is responsible for ensuring that natural gas cryo processing plants, amine treating plants, compressors and pipeline systems are operated and maintained efficiently, safely, within regulatory compliance and with integrity.
The Plant Operator will conduct operations via both computer control center and onsite operations.

* Operate, start-up, and shut down natural gas plant and pipeline equipment including, but not limited to: amine treating plants, propane refrigeration system, reciprocating natural gas compressors, TEG dehydrators, fluid separation equipment, valves, gas measurement equipment, large valves etc.
* Adjust controls to operate equipment in the recommended operating ranges, meet customer specifications, and maintain safe gathering system pressures.
