DEPCOM Power is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their growing team at their Bedminster, NJ office.
As an Electrical Engineer at DEPCOM, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) power plants.
This position offers an opportunity to gain expertise in various electrical engineering disciplines, including DC, Medium Voltage (MV), and High Voltage (HV) design.
You will receive direct mentorship and hands-on experience, accelerating your professional growth and industry knowledge.
This position is not eligible for VISA Sponsorship.

What You Will Do
* Create comprehensive electrical drawing packages for PV and Energy storage projects from 30% design through Issue For Construction (IFC).
* Conduct and document system loss analyses, grounding studies, arc flash assessments, and ampacity calculations.
* Draft engineered specifications and corresponding bills of materials to assist in procurement for assigned projects.
* Utilize AutoCAD for material take-offs as needed.
* Perform analyses for various installation architectures, grounding schemes, and major equipment.
* Collaborate with colleagues and actively share expertise through mentorship to enhance team capabilities and support professional growth.
* Collaborate with project delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
* Engage with clients and stakeholders to support the design and delivery of power plants.
* Ensure compliance with contract specifications and scope of work.
* Travel up to 15% to job sites as required.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or other related Engineering discipline.
* Experience in Photovoltaic (PV) solar, Energy Storage Applications, and/or general EPC Projects.
* Valid driver's license.
* Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Internships range from three to six months of full time work on site in Toledo, Oregon.
Our Team
Be a part of the Manufacturing Excellence team at the Toledo, Oregon Pulp and Paper facility.
You will be on a team of process engineers and asset availability leaders focusing on continuous improvement efforts.
Our Toledo facility is an integrated mill that manufactures containerboard, including unbleached linerboard and corrugating medium that is converted into corrugated boxes and packaging at numerous box plants on the West Coast from Washington to California and New Mexico.
The packaging is used for a variety of products such as fruit, vegetables and seafood; consumer goods such as tissue, paper products, packaged food and beverages.
The GP Toledo mill is the largest recycler of wastepaper (used cardboard boxes) in Oregon at over 500,000 tons recycled annually.
