Room Inspector
In the role of Housekeeping Room Inspector at the AC Hotel, you will:
•Be a Role Model - you have been there and done that in housekeeping, you know what perfection looks like.
You continue to assist your team by demonstrating the proper cleaning standards, while teaching your team how to meet and/or exceed expectations.
•Be a Details Person - always be looking for excellence throughout your hotel and make suggestions to management and/or help train staff if they can't see what you do.
Keep an eye on guest room supplies, and linen closets, to ensure that the team has what they need in order to be successful.\
•Be Meticulous - maintain clean and attractive guestrooms, i.e.
make beds, change linens, clean, dust, polish and vacuum to make sure our rooms meet or exceed hotel/franchise standards.
•Be Organized - ensure you are ready to go each day; you have the proper room lists, and know where to find everyone!
•Be The Communicator - you understand how difficult the room attendant job is, and do everything in your power to work with your team and contribute to their success.
You communicate recognition and point out opportunities, while being a teacher in whatever you do.

Job Requirements
This role requires at least one year experience in a hotel or related field..
Must know how to effectively use the various pieces of equipment/tools used in housekeeping.
A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical requirements include the ability to perform medium work - exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
This role requires the ability to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances, with the ability to kneel, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, as well as the ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
Long hours sometimes required.
Must be able to multi task.
Must possess good communication skills.
