Strategist, Enterprise Strategy

The Nemours Transformation Office is seeking the expertise and skills of a Strategist that has extensive experience working successfully with multidisciplinary teams.

This person will have experience leveraging Lean methodology to support transformational strategies and will collaborate closely with their internal team of portfolio managers, improvement specialists, and project managers, as well as executives, senior leaders, and associates from across the enterprise.

This person must be able to synthesize complex systems, operate in macro and micro level detail, and adapt to rapidly changing organizational needs and project requirements to deliver value to the organization.

The position demands a self-starter comfortable working in a busy and dynamic environment with competing priorities.

Their skills and experience should enable them to work independently, as needed, while being responsive and proactive with a strong work ethic.

They should also be able to make critical decisions under pressure and have excellent time management.

As a member of a highly visible team, they must have a collaborative work style and leadership presence with the ability to effectively interact and earn the trust of peers and senior leaders across the organization.

Essential Functions:


* System Focused - prolifically communicates the strategic vision, mission, organizational structure, and processes, teaching and coaching at all levels.

Ability to understand and interpret complex systems; understand both the "big picture" and the details and communicate both with ease; ability to synthesize complex information in various mediums to meet the needs of the audience.


* Leadership - responsible for advancing and supporting key pieces of our strategy infrastructure and transformational initiatives with high-level guidance and input from the Chief Transformation Officer


* Delivery - engages with leaders to understand changing business needs, define & socialize potential paths forward and provide recommendations to advance desired business outcomes.

Supports high-visibility, complex projects through conducting strategic analysis using a Lean, data driven approach and synthesizing findings to be presented to internal leaders.


* Critical Thinking - makes informed decisions through objective analysis and evaluation, navigating ambiguity when necessary to develop key deliverables including, but not limited to, complex analysis, process development, innovative or transformative initiatives.

Demonstrates strategic and innovative thinking, utilizing proven project management, Lean, process improvement, data analytics, and problem-solving skills.


* Time Management - ability to prioritize, schedule and complete tasks for multiple projects with overlapping schedules.

Effectively responds to time sensitive issues, meets deadlines, and manages shifting priorities in a timely, and thorough manner.
