Pharmacy Process Lead Analyst

The Cigna Pharmacy Process Lead Analyst will support cross functional teams to deliver strategic pharmacy initiatives aligning to activities associated with E2E Process Mapping.

The Process Lead Analyst is responsible for identifying and implementing the necessary changes for the department/organization to realign/align with the right objectives and priorities.

In addition, the role will be responsible for drafting and preparing the needed documentation detailing the existing processes, changes recommended, changes implemented, and the anticipated results.

This expert analyzes the implemented changes, results, and ensures they're yielding the desired outcomes and making adjustments to workflows/processes as necessary.

This role supports our internal operational functions as well as services integrated with external suppliers focused on people, process and technology.

Responsibilities:


* Lead projects involving an array of stakeholder groups including: external vendor partners, internal business units, IT delivery teams, and other matrix partners


* Accountable to support project management initiatives within the Cigna Pharmacy team as well operational playbooks with internal and external stakeholders in addition to the end-to-end process mapping


* Support intake processes, business excellence and lead additional strategic project initiatives


* Employ project management standards, including creation of charters, scope, goals, and benefits of process improvement initiatives


* Evaluate Existing Business Processes, flow charts, manuals, and other documentation to show the existing processes effectively


* Studies ways of effectively introducing change and making improvements that will increase productivity and reduce redundancy


* Develop work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports


* Act as a change agent and ensure process improvement activity is being communicated, understood, and supported within the organization


* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


* 3+ years of experience with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle


* Participation in process re-engineering efforts for at least one medium-to-large IT related project


* Experience working within cross-functional project team to understand business requirements and deliver process artifacts


* Ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected business documentation and drawings, and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues


* Understanding of hierarchical and sequential process modeling concepts/techniques


* Proficient with process modeling tools (Visio, Confluence, etc.) to identify, capture, define, and analyze business processes


* Strong project management skills experienced in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
