Data Specialist

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is accepting applications for the position of Data Specialist for the Office of Philanthropic and Alumni Engagement (PAE).

Duties: Develop and generate simple and complex queries, reports, mailing lists and exports; maintain constituent records, and research donor and prospect information; perform advanced data functions, such as merging records, record clean-up, and import and export data between PAE, Business Affairs and Career Services data programs; accurately record and manage gift entry from multiple sources; ensure gift entry data is properly coded and balances monthly and yearly; and participate in national data assessments and benchmarking efforts.

Requirements: Associate degree and 1-2 years of experience in data entry, including prospect research, data import/export, and developing standard and custom reports.

Relevant work experience can be substituted for the educational requirement.

The Data Specialist must demonstrate experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and demonstrate commitment to enhancing equity and improving access for constituents regardless of their background.
