Job Description

This position provides leadership and takes overall functional responsibility for a broad range of human resource activities and initiatives for the Corinth Global Nonwovens Mill.

Job Summary:

The Mill HR Manager will provide site leadership in creating a high performance culture that emphasizes employee engagement, quality, safety and effective continuous improvement implementation to drive a highly productive workforce.

In addition, this role will have leadership responsibility for employee relations management as well as other high performance initiatives to deliver transformation and ongoing continuous improvement to our work practices and team leader leadership capabilities.

The HR Manager will build on and apply their expertise in various areas including performance management, employee relations, lean manufacturing, organizational development, training and development of leaders and project management to enhance cross-sector effectiveness.

Customers and Customer Requirements:

Key customers include mill and sector management and all employees.

The incumbent works closely with the Mill Manager and is a member of the Leadership Team.

Customer requirements include providing advice and counsel in the areas of employee relations, organizational effectiveness and talent building.

Ensure sound employee relations policies and practices are in effect and consistent with corporate and site direction and state and federal labor laws.

Scope:

The position reports to the HR Business Partner - Global Nonwovens and will be responsible for all HR related issues that require attention from external K-C and site sources (i.e.

OFCCP audits, EEO claims, etc.)

Responsibilities:


* Provide HR services to mill.

Serve as advisor to the site leadership, providing policy and program development and administration in areas which include employment; employee relations; EEO; training and development; and compensation and benefits to be provided in the context of the operation’s cultural environment, corporate policies and procedures, and applicable federal and state laws.


* Manage the mill’s talent acquisition process to ensure the organization attracts, develops and retains the best people.

Foster an environment which motivates a diverse team to fully use its capabilities in achieving desired business results.

Develop and implement plans which ensure that the mill achieves its goals for affirmative action in employment.


* Lead the development of the site people strategy to continuously improve engagement and enablement, and the overall health of the organization (including analysis of bi-annual engagement survey, communication of survey results, and action-planning).


* Skilled in bringing forward employee relations issues and concerns in a manner that builds employee confidence in the incumbent’s ability to hear and understand the issue in a non-threatening manner.
