Reporting to the Head of GPS Operational Excellence & Project Management Office (OpEx PMO) and a member of the OpEx PMO Leadership Team, this position will lead strategic and operational priorities for OpEx PMO.

This position will be responsible for Training, People Development, Change Leadership, and Knowledge Management.

The position will partner with other OpEx PMO leaders and business leaders and stakeholders to develop, deploy and manage a holistic people development strategy across Global Product Development and Supply (GPS) to enable the organization to meet business objectives and build the foundations to drive continuous, sustainable, flawless execution and performance improvement through deep and broad application of operational excellence methodology.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

•      Use standard Hoshin Kanri approach to shape and execute a holistic OpEx strategy for People Development in lean, six sigma, change leadership and knowledge management

•      Develop and deploy the OpEx training standards in various formats to enable effective training and utilization (virtual, class room, and on the job training)

•      Develop, deploy and manage role-based competency development process for all GPS

•      Increase GPS’ training capability through well-structured Train-the-Training process

•      Develop and deploy process to continue improving training standards

•      Develop and deploy process to capture and easily share best practices, and case studies  for all OpEx methods and processes to accelerate and increase business value

•      Develop and deploy process for recognition and rewards for good application of OpEx methods

•      Develop and deploy process to ensure skills and competencies are growing within the organization

·         Train and coach key leaders and team members to increase their OpEx competency

·         Hold and lead internal and external benchmarking activities to accelerate learning and replication of improvements

·         Leverage critical business (sites) P1 projects to deliver improved business performance & increasing skills of development targets

·         Partner with other OpEx Directors and team members to ensure standardization

·         Lead and or contribute to other prioritized OpEx PMO work as required
