Administrative Assistant

Position Summary:

F5 is looking for an administrative assistant to support the marketing leadership team, ensuring that they have the infrastructure and systems in place to do their best work.

This is a role for those who are systems thinkers, creative and dedicated, an excellent communicator, and a great teammate in every way.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Complete a broad range of administrative tasks including handling an active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is occasionally confidential; arranging detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; compiling documents for travel-related meetings

* Plan, coordinate, and ensure schedule is followed and appropriately prioritized; keeping executives well-informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately

* Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns including those of a sensitive or confidential nature; help determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response

* Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, actively, and follow through on projects to successful completion

* Collects and prepares information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff and outside individuals.

* Communicate directly, and on behalf of, the supported staff on a range of issues

* Works independently under general instructions, in a dynamic environment.

* Take on special projects as needed

* Performs other related duties as assigned.[SV1]


* Minimum two year degree preferred; 3 - 5 years of experience in the administrative field; high-tech background a plus.

* Administrative support experience of a senior-level leader.

* Advanced skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

* Motivated to take initiative and able to exercise independent judgment.

* Ability to complete tasks without exact/detailed instructions.

* Project management skills essential.

* Detail oriented, prompt, flexible, and dependable.

* Highly organized

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

* Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.

* Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.

* Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
