Program Manager

Description

The Lifecycle Services Program Manager is responsible for creating and managing field-relevant, packaged, consistent and supported Lifecycle Services offering to Emerson’s installed base customers.

This program is a key contributor driving the expansion of Process Systems & Solutions (PSS) post-project, Services offerings.

The Lifecycle Services Program Manager will own the conceptualization and definition of new and updated offerings, including the development of direction statements based on the current System Health Monitoring service, any value-added enhancements and will also be responsible for aligning the organization around delivery.

Rigorous use of the New Product Development (NPD) 2.0 processes will be made.

The Lifecycle Services Program Manager will work with other departments (such as Product Marketing, Technology and Customer Support), to ensure that the program is developed successfully and integrated into all aspects of the business, providing incremental revenue opportunities for field in all World Areas.

Working with the Services World Area sales and operations leaders (North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Europe and Middle East/Africa), the successful candidate for this position will also be responsible for the perpetual management of the program’s overall sales and operations success, by providing global support as needed to enable success in all World Areas.

Working with the Services Marketing team, the Lifecycle Services Program Manager will assist in positioning and developing customer-focused messaging around the program.

 
Responsibilities


* Interact with existing customers and the global Service sales and operations channel to identify unmet needs and concerns with existing offering


* Conceptualize, define, develop, structure, strategize and evangelize Lifecycle Services program being developed


* Develop Business models that can drive both short and long-term revenue


* Work with Service World Area business leaders to rollout programs globally, making sure to fine-tune/customize the facets of the program for each World Area’s specific needs and dynamics


* Continuously survey emerging trends and best practices in the industry, traditional competitors and the global sales channel to stay abreast of potential opportunities as well as lessons to be learned


* Develop and maintain quantifiable business justification (and associated sales tools) for the adoption of the programs by our customers


* Develop internal sales and operational training course curriculum and manage the course offerings for Lifecycle Service program


* Support the development of sales tools and collateral (pain to solutions maps, presentations, QBRs, whitepapers) as well as marketing communications (email, webinars, internet/intranet material, etc.)


* Support sales pursuits globally by being the Subject Matter Expert in this area, including sales training, initial rollout, on-go...
