Submissions Administrator - D&O

Job Summary:

Enter paper, electronic and faxed copies of new and renewal submissions into the Dragon system; create and populate electronic policy files.  Handle broker of record requests.  Process status changes and premium finance notices.  Answer the main phone line.



Job Duties

* Enter new/renewal paper, electronic and faxed submissions into Dragon.

* Ensure that all submission information entered into Dragon is complete, accurate and conforms to established service standards.  Complete all required procedures to ensure compliance with our company and state guidelines. 

* Process Broker of Record requests.

* Establish and maintain electronic underwriting files in accordance with paperless procedures and department file structure.  Ensure all information is saved and named appropriately. 

* Provide backup and support to your fellow Submissions Administrators when requested and otherwise as time allows.

* Answer/reroute main line telephone.

* Process premium finance notices and record the information in Dragon.

* Process status changes.

* Contribute to the success and growth of the department and the company by completing additional tasks and projects as requested by the Operations Management team.


Job Requirements:

* 2 years’ professional work experience, previous insurance experience or training preferred. 

* Proficient computer skills, especially in Windows-based systems Microsoft Word and Excel, and some Internet research. 

* Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

* Multitask, work independently and problem solve. 

* Must be highly organized, accurate, and detail oriented.

* Ability to perform standard office functions, telephone, e-mail communications, filing.
