Account Manager – Lifecycle Services

Account Manager Lifecycle Services Sales Develops and Deploys all necessary Strategies and Tactics and mobilises Available Resources across Emerson’s Local and Global Organisations to Identify the Opportunities and Grow the Business Volumes for Lifecycle Services at the Customer Accounts within the Designated Sales Territory.

This role will primarily be covering Aberdeen and Scotland with willingness to travel across the UK and Europe where required with occasional over night stays possible.
Responsibilities
 
• Business Area is defined as Lifecycle Services business opportunities for all Emerson Business Units within specially agreed sales territory defined in terms of geography, industries and Customer types.
• Actively Develop and Maintain a Solid Knowledge of the Market and Business Relations within Dedicated Business Area by being Personally Involved and Facilitating the Participation of available Resources (including People, Knowledge and Infrastructure) in the Sales and Marketing Activities
• Develop Broad Understanding of key Industry Trends and Customer Business Drivers and Ensure the Alignment of Emerson Product and Pursuit Strategies with those trends.

Plan and facilitate the marketing activities to ensure the Value Messaging is delivered to the target Customers.
• Facilitate and Personally Contribute to the Business Planning and Development Process.

Communicate and Drive the Execution Initiatives for Specific Industry and Account Plans within the Business Area
• Actively Engage into Business Planning Activities, Prepare the data and Facilitate the Annual and Monthly Budget and POR processes across appropriate Business Units within UK&I sales team.
• Identify, Pursue either Personally or through Team Participation, and Secure the Key Opportunities within Dedicated Business Area with the purpose of Growing the Business Volumes with required Profitability and Driving respective initiatives for Involved Business Units
• Actively Contribute to the Sales Excellence Initiatives by providing and personally maintaining the Business Data Consistency in CRM and other business systems, as well as owning the additional responsibilities in regional sales excellence teams
• Practice a ‘Think Customer’ culture in all aspects of the role and conduct the business Ethically

 

Requirements

• HNC / Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent;
• Solid Field Sales and sales management experience with proven track record in winning projects and customer service;
• Broad knowledge of process control and instrumentation;
• Understanding of business drivers, commercial negotiations, and decision making processes for automation;
• Relationship building, communication, influencing, negotiation, and customer service skills
• IT literate and Full clean driving license.
