EFT Analytics, Inc. is looking for a Scrum Master to join our team in Wichita! The Scrum Master would be part of small but fast-growing technology company backed by a large and stable company.

The Scrum Master would be responsible for helping enable a team to solve complex software problems while building a secure, stable, scalable and high performing platform.

The Scrum Master would also get the chance to help build the culture of the initial employees into high-performing teams.

 

The successful candidate must have demonstrated skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and transparency.

The Scrum Master is a facilitator, an enabler, and a coach.

 

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:


* Assessing the Scrum maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity resulting in greater velocity


* Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments that are hindering team velocity


* Guiding the team on how to get the most out of self-organization including how to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks


* Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised with an emphasis on problem solving


* Facilitating getting the work done in effective small teams – ensuring Scrum events and artifacts


* Partnering with the Product Owner in assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information 

 

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:


* First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I)


* Experience as a Scrum Master for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory


* Demonstrated use of numerous techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: Burndown techniques, Retrospective formats, handling bugs, tracking tools, etc.)


* Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited institution or High School Diploma with 4+ cumulative years of relevant work experience

 

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:


* Second level Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM II)


* Two years or more as a practicing Scrum Master


* Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.


* Knowledge and/or experience incorporating other Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing


* Applicable knowledge of software development tools and technologies
