As a Recruiter, you will be providing exempt-level talent and staffing solutions to regional operations and sales partners.

They will look to you to source, identify, screen, select, and onboard the most qualified talent through a variety of full-cycle recruiting channels.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

* Partner with hiring managers to recruit talent at all levels for various functions, initiating contact with qualified talent and supporting XPO LTL (Less-than-Truckload) operations and sales partners

* Partner with management to develop staffing strategies for current and future needs, including building pipelines

* Conduct regular business partner meetings to educate on recruiting best practices and market data, including execution of recruiting processes and tools

* Conduct business in a consultative manner through communicating persuasively, influencing others, and sharing a point of view by using a creative approach to drive results

* Manage offer process including salary recommendations, offer letter generation, and offer negotiations, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience

* Develop and maintain a network of contacts to easily identify and source qualified talent through a variety of channels including internet, social networking sites, networking, cold-calling, referrals, job fairs, etc.  

* Collaborate across teams and business units to support process improvements and to share best practices

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

* 1 year of experience in full life-cycle recruiting in the LTL, transportation, or logistics industry

* 3 years of experience working with a leading applicant tracking system

* Experience with sourcing, screening, selecting, and onboarding experienced professionals

* Demonstrated expertise in advanced internet searching, candidate research and cold calling

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

It’d be great if you also have:

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

* Search firm experience with experience in LTL, transportation, or logistics industry

* Strong client management and relationship building skills with life cycle recruiting, including demonstrated expertise in direct sourcing

* Strong written and verbal communication skills appropriate for all levels
