We are looking for talented engineering professionals to join our HSE Project Organization.

The Engineering organization at Pratt & Whitney is divided into four Module Centers, including Hot Section, Compression and Mechanical Systems, Fans and Externals, and Product Delivery.

The Module Centers are a world-class engineering organization, aligned by component-level hardware in different sections of the jet engine.

The four module centers work in tandem to deliver Pratt and Whitney's trademark Dependable Engines.

Job Summary: Hot Section Engineering (HSE) is part of the Module Center Engineering organization at Pratt & Whitney.

Pratt and Whitney Hot Section Engineering (HSE) is looking for highly motivated project engineers with Industrial gas turbine experience.

Hot Section Engineering (HSE) is aligned by component-level hardware in different sections of the jet engine.

Experienced project engineers will support an integrated product team (IPT) made up of designers, structures engineers, product modeling and drawing staff and system analysts.

Project Engineers play a key technical role in all aspects of internal and external project engineering.

This covers the overall coordination and leading of a multi-disciplinary engineering team to meet the technical, cost, and schedule requirements for throughout the life cycle of the product.

Activities consist of coordinating design, fabrication, validation, and sustainment activities.

Individual responsibilities include the leading a part team that reaches decisions necessary to achieve overall component goals within system requirements.

Within the IPT framework, project engineers are tasked with managing a task , leading an IPT, planning budgets and schedules, developing new product, sustaining fielded engines, resolving manufacturing issues, managing budgets, and communicating all things related to tasks.

Knowledge of EVMS is a plus.

Level of Responsibility: Responsible for entire projects and significant components of other projects.

Applies their knowledge to contribute to the team, department, and possibly the business unit Fully developed professional, able to work without direct guidance from others May develop and coach others Has in-depth knowledge of the discipline that may extend to similar fields.

Required Qualifications:
7+years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree and 4+ with a Master's degree.
U.S Citizenship Required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Degree in an Engineering Field or an MBA is desirable.
Experience in Aerospace Industry desired.

Education: Minimum of a BS in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
