Summary:

The VP of Consumer Growth is responsible for scaling the amount of high-quality freelancers on the platform, setting priorities, and ensuring all growth systems are trending up over time.

The incumbent oversees and manages the freelance community as well as all marketing activities directed towards freelancers.

The VP of Consumer Growth develops and leads a team of Data Science, Digital Marketing and Community Management specialists.

 

Responsibilities:



* Define Consumer Growth strategies and guide the company’s growth trajectory to new inflection points


* Guide the development of dashboards, analytics systems, and automated rules needed to ensure the health and growth of the consumer acquisition funnel over time


* Excel at the intersection of business, technology, data and marketing


* Source and onboard high-quality freelancers


* Oversee and steer all marketing activities towards the freelance community


* Manage the freelance community


* Capture freelancers’ needs and other ideas for product and service improvements and share them with the leadership team


* Conduct regular and in-depth analysis of freelance trends and patterns and act on this analysis to inform short, medium and long term strategy


* Lead, direct, train and develop the Consumer Growth team


* Coordinate and align with the Global YOSS team to share consumer acquisition insights and winning strategies


* Define, measure and leverage KPIs for successful consumer acquisition


* Prioritize and oversee the implementation of product improvements for funnel optimization

Qualifications: 



* 8+ years of experience in Consumer Growth / Product Management or similar (preferably in a management position)


* Experience in the freelance market


* Proven track record of consumer acquisition and digital growth initiatives


* Entrepreneurial mindset, being able to identify market opportunities and realize wins quickly


* Experience with SaaS products/solutions, HR products and services


* Experience in a multinational company, preferably in the staffing industry


* Great product intuition and experience with marketing, sales and customer success concepts


* Demonstrated success in leading high-performance teams (preferably cross-functional teams)
