North America Talent Sourcing Manager

The North America Talent Sourcing Manager position is responsible for developing and executing regional strategies, programs and processes to source and attract talent across multiple businesses for North American Cargill businesses.  This position will lead the sourcing team to partner with businesses and define talent needs, gather and apply industry and market trends, perform proactive candidate sourcing, and recruit passive candidates for hard-to-fill/critical need positions in Cargill. 

*This position may be based out of Hopkins, MN or Remote within the US

Principal Accountabilities 

50% Sourcing Strategy and Candidate Pipeline Development

o   Develop regional candidate sourcing strategy and innovative approaches/resources to meet future business strategy needs.  Develop sourcing best practices and recruitment channels, foster idea generation, monitor and advise on market conditions and research and develop new sourcing/recruiting techniques and resources.

o   Lead regional Talent Acquisition approach to sourcing tools (e.g., CRM, LinkedIn, Talent Neuron) including training and capability building for team and building strong relationships with vendor representatives.

o   Partner with businesses to develop Talent Acquisition strategy for key talent segments of their strategy/business.  Develop solutions and facilitate execution within the Talent Acquisition team.

o   Manage relationships with key business leaders.

Increase business leaders understanding of market trends for sourcing candidates. 

o   Create and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates.

o   Support corporate social media and branding strategies to enable a strong employment brand and enhance candidate attraction.


25% Diversity Strategy

o   Develop North American diversity sourcing strategy in collaboration and alignment with the Talent Center of Excellence, Global Inclusion & Diversity, and corporate strategy.  Establish priorities and approach to support business needs and metrics. 

o   Collaborate with key internal partners (Talent COE, GID, businesses, HR job family, etc) to develop solutions and facilitate execution within the Talent Acquisition team.  Act as key liaison between GID and Talent Acquisition.

o   Manage relationships and Cargill’s participation with external partnerships including National Minority Organizations and Military/Veteran outreach ensuring investments are realized.


25%     People, Budget & Resource Management

o   Accountable for performance management, talent development, succession planning and engagement for the Sourcing team within the regional Talent Acquisition team. 

o   Provides input into the planning of future workforce needs for Talent Acquisition and participates in selection of Talent Acquisition team members.
