HR Talent Acquisition Manager

* Defines and executes talent strategy for attracting and developing new industry talent for Newmont, with specific emphasis on recruiting delivery to Corporate business functions

* Provide leadership and direction for TA team; managing reporting and sourcing strategy for various corporate groups.

* Direct accountability to functional stakeholders (including executive leadership, regional leadership, and HR Business Partners) to manage, direct and implement recruiting strategy while compiling metrics and adjusting approach accordingly.

* Strategize with hiring managers to proactively address staffing needs and solutions.

This involves the management and implementation of recruiting, sourcing, and on-boarding activities.


Essential Duties


* Develop key relationships with the leadership team to expedite corporate talent acquisition needs, on-going workforce planning, and integration to the global talent management process.

* Establish a recruiting strategy with the hiring manager for filling open requisitions, including sourcing, prescreening, interviewing, selecting, and reference checking candidates.

* Communicate the Company's employee value proposition to all appropriate stakeholders, i.e., prospects, candidates, executives, hiring managers, employees, communities.

* Create a world-class experience for all candidates from first point of contact with Newmont and ongoing.

* Work to fill all vacancies in a timely, cost-efficient manner with the most qualified candidates.

* Responsible for sourcing candidates through passive sourcing methods, networking,  internet postings, employee referrals, and at times, 3^rd party recruiters.

* Develop relationships with agencies, and industry associations.

* Review and evaluate resumes to select appropriate slate of candidates for interviews ensuring that a diverse candidate pool has been screened and presented to the hiring manager.
