SUMMARY
This role supports the US Supply Chain Team and is intended to attract talented new college graduates.

The Field Logistics Supply Chain Analyst will train for up to 6 months in either Charlotte NC or Denver CO on field logistics functions and will then relocate to another major US city to provide logistical support to the local Smith & Nephew Sales teams in that region. 

Logistical support includes preparing and ensuring delivery of instruments and implants sets for surgery,
responsibility for maintaining accurate records of products as they flow through the territory and will be accountable for critical products missing from sets to ensure proper billing.

What you will do:
Develop a good working knowledge of company products, operating systems and procedures
through daily logistics support of the Sales Teams.

You will be assigned an advisor during the 6 month introduction period to ensure you are progressing through the training period successfully.

Learn the Smith and Nephew US Field Logistics processes and being able to apply them.

At the end of the 6 month training period you will need to be able to move to a location (US major City area) and take on the role of a Field Logistics Specialist I responsibilities.

Your preference for relocation will be considered; however, the needs of the business will be the deciding factor.

Logistic support skills include:

Utilizing software applications to schedule and prepare instrument and implant kits to facilitate scheduled surgeries; manage stock levels; ensure proper product shelf life management; coordinate product delivery; choose most economical freight method and maintain product accountability.

You will develop a basic understanding of relevant compliance, GxP and Quality Systems standards and specifically FDA Quality System Regulations.
