Job Summary

You will own the Release Management life-cycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications across various portfolios.

The releases can be inclusive of application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades, Projects and Programs.

Where necessary you'll provides tools and services to help product management and project teams manage and deploy releases into production.

Key responsibilities include:


* Forward Plan the release windows and cycles across a portfolio


* Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates


* Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes


* Manages the build process for multiple concurrent releases


* Design, engineer, maintain, and Improve automated build and deployment process


* Manages and maintains various software feature branches using a Source Control System


* Participate in deployment & configuration of the application as needed

Key desired skills and experience:



* Must hold a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline


* Must have the proven ability to resolve build issues, e.g.

merge conflicts, compilation errors, missing dependencies


* Must have Experience with CI tools such as Cruse Control, Bamboo, and custom deployment tools
