Job Summary

The Automation Engineer is responsible for the concept, design, programming and testing of automated equipment and process that will complete production and assembly work.

In addition, the Automation Engineer is responsible for detailed design specifications and other documentation in their creations.

Key responsibilities include:

* Implement and develop automated test practices for both web applications.

* Design, engineer, maintain and improve automated testing framework using automation tools, to address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability in preparation for implementation.

* Works with the QA Manager and colleagues to define process and strategy associated with automation.

* Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.

* Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.

Key desired skills and experience:

* Must hold Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline

* Must have 6 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably of complex web based software products.

* Must have 3 years of experience with automated testing tools and testing procedures

* Familiarity with:

* SQL Server Analysis Services, Reporting Services, and Integration Services

* PowerShell

* Source control with Visual Studio Team Services, SVN, and Git
