We are looking for the perfect maintenance professional to join us at our Duncan facility as a Diesel Maintenance Manager.

A Day in the Life of a Diesel Maintenance Manager:


* You will be overseeing two shops that each have a teams of 3 preventative maintenance mechanics who are responsible for the preventative maintenance and mechanic repairs for our diesel refuse route trucks and our transfer station heavy equipment.


* Ensuring location is in compliance with all regulatory agencies and statutes.


* Control of inventory and maintenance of equipment.


* Performing repairs and maintenance on automated side loader, rear loader, roll off, and other vehicles, machines or heavy equipment to maximize safe and productive operations.


* Training and assisting mechanics on methods for diagnosing and repairing vehicles and equipment.


* Testing vehicles to troubleshoot problems and/or tests repairs to ensure proper and safe completion.


* Work closely with the Site Manager regarding work schedules, job assignments, and other shop issues.


* Planning, budgeting, and supervising projects from concept to completion.

Have to Have:


* 3+ years management experience in automotive/truck, light or heavy equipment maintenance and repair.


* Excellent working knowledge of DOT compliance requirements.


* Knowledge of air brake, hydraulic and electrical systems.


* CDL Class B with Air Brakes or ability to obtain.
