Operations Manager

The Operations Manager leads the print and digital production.

There is direct involvement in workflow processes utilizing multiple programs to manage FCW’s products.

Areas of responsibility include production planning, web design and development, ad ops, budgeting, project management and estimating, vendor management and operational improvement.

Responsibilities include:

- Oversee print production, from pre-press to distribution.

Works closely with the printer, oversees layout and imposition, ordering paper and press checks.

- Leads digital asset management including website development.

The direct contact for FCW’s contracted developers, analytics, website admin and newsletter distribution i.e.

Google Analytics, MailChimp and Omail.

- Oversee all Ad Operations working with Advertising Administrator to organize and maintain advertising contacts and materials.

Verify materials for print and digital properties.

Utilize Google DFP and distribute code for displaying materials.

Communicate with editorial on special insertions and track inserts.

- General management of related budgets, liaison to IT support and services, and maintaining vendor contracts.

- As needed, work on various projects such as trade show management, award programs, research eBlasts and new products.

 - Proficient with multiple applications including Indesign, Acrobat Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dream Weaver, Word, Excel, Mail Chimp and Google DFP.

Knowledge of HTML/XML and knowing InDesign/InCopy workflow is a must.
