Recruiter Specialist - Production - Wichita / KS
The Production - Recruiter Specialist is responsible for managing and delivering all facets (including outreach) of the mobile recruiting process for production workers at various NA Protein locations and businesses.
Responsibilities include working with GHRS and BHR leaders to develop a sourcing strategy and recruiting plans based on the needs of the business and Locations.
The role is responsible for executing mobile recruiting activities and the hiring process at mobile recruiting locations.
Additionally the successful candidate will ensure compliance with legal and company requirements, (AAP, I-9, OFCCP, Backgroud Checks, Relocation, etc.)
50% Execute the hiring process associated with mobile recruiting activities, i.e.
interviewing candidates, conducting background checks, post offer paperwork, extend job offers, coordinate hiring needs from various protein locations.Â
25% Develop and execute recruiting strategies, locations, activities, etc., to support protein location recruiting and staffing needs for production workers.
Manage standard relocation package provisions.
Develop strategies and tactics to develop a strong employment brand in the mobile recruiting locations.
Work with each protein plant on their recruiting strategy to better understand their needs and determine in conjunction with the Sub Market Lead and location EE Specialist when mobile recruitment is needed.
Understand unemployment metrics and use analytics in determining the best target locations for recruitment.
Benchmark effective mobile recruiting practices/processes and incorporate into our process to ensure our process/offering is effective and competitive.
15% Manage the logistics to execute mobile recruiting activities including: scheduling recruiting trips, coordinating resources as needed to execute recruiting activities, manage relocation logistics to the work location, coordinate with plant locations for onboarding, manage recruiting forecast needs for various locations.
10% Support individual protein locations recruiting activities as needed/outreach activity for non-protein locations.
â€¢Â 2+ years professional work experience in Human Resources and or recruiting
â€¢ Bilingual (Spanish/English)
â€¢ Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Affirmative Action, Employment Law and Diversity Recruiting Strategies
â€¢ Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
â€¢ Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
â€¢ Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and as a member of a team.
â€¢ Demonstrated ablity to exercise discretion and diplomacy with confidential and sensitive matters.
â€¢ Bachelors degree in Human Resources
â€¢ Experience with a recruiting system like Taleo
â€¢ HR and or recruiting experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment
