Basic Qualifications:


* Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or graduation from a military command and staff college plus 10 years of task related experience


* OR a combination of 15 years of military operational experience and 5 years of task related experience


* Operational experience includes planning and executing combined and joint operations at the Combatant Command/theater or Service Component level, experience with the Joint Training System (JTS) and Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS), knowledge of Combatant Command operations and training requirements which will enhance operational effectiveness, Defense Support of Civil Authorities, and North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and US Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) functional area responsibilities.


* Current Active Top Secret Clearance is required


* The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Job Duties:

Joint Lessons Learned and Corrective Action Program defense contractor for the NORAD and USNORTHCOM J7 Joint Training and Exercises Directorate.  As a member of the management team supporting the NORAD and USNORTHCOM's Joint Lessons Learned Program (JLLP) and Corrective Action Program (CAP) process by developing policies and procedures that leads toward institutionalization and operationalization of the JLLP/CAP within the NORAD and USNORTHCOM Joint Operational Area.  Supports the Joint Training System Assessment and Feedback phase through the development, implementation and execution of a process to collect, analyze and distribute observations, findings, issues and lessons learned within the command.  Provides analytical support for the Joint Staff’s issue-resolution process.  Supports the development of the Commands’ lessons learned and corrective action program plan of action and milestones by recommending actions to improve and enhance the readiness of the Commands.  Reviews and presents recommendations on changes to JLLP/CAP policies and procedures.
