MACHINE OPERATOR - HARDWARE

Koch-Glitsch LP has an immediate opening for a Machine Operator in the Hardware area located at our manufacturing plant in Wichita KS. The shift will be Tuesday-Friday from 7:00am-5:30pm.

Brief Summary of Duties



* Operates all machines in the department with proper guarding in place


* Ability to work independently on at least two different machines in the department


* Understand all Personal Protective Equipment assessments, Job Hazard Analysis and Preventive Maintenance requirements for the machine and department


* Demonstrates a strong commitment to KGLP's EH&S Quality and Production excellence

Requirements


* Previous machine operator experience


* Experience working in manufacturing shop environment


* Ability to read and use standard and metric tape measures


* Basic math skills (i.e.

counting)


* Ability to read blueprints

Preferred Qualifications



* High School Diploma or GED


* Knowledge of Coil Fed Operation


* Forklift experience

Physical Demands



* Willing and able to bend, squat and lift up to 50lbs.


* Willing and able to stand and work up to 10 hours in a non climate controlled environment


* Overtime as needed to meet the customers needs
