Job Title: Manager, Human Resources

Position Summary –

Under direction of Senior HR Leader coordinates the Company’s human resources activities in compliance with company philosophy, objectives and legal requirements.

Implementation of HR programs, policies, procedures and practices that focus on attracting, retaining and developing the employee base.  Responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the Human Resources functions for Company.

Duties and Responsibilities



* Under direction of Senior HR Leader coordinates the Company’s human resources activities in compliance with company philosophy, objectives and legal requirements


* Implementation of HR programs, policies, procedures and practices that focus on attracting, retaining and developing the employee base 


* Responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the Human Resources functions for Company


* Informs Senior Management of HR related issues


* Complies with legislated requirements such as EEO, wage and hour, ADA, OSHA 


* Works to resolve employee relation issues and takes appropriate action to correct such problems 


* Works with Senior HR Leader to coordinates employee legal problems, lawsuit and compliance issues with appropriate personnel


* Administers the compensation programs for the business to include pay adjustments, incentive and bonus programs


* In coordination with EH&S may oversee workers compensation claims administration


* Directs and maintains various activities designed to promote and maintain a high level of employee morale


* Under direction of Senior Leader gathers HR data for the succession planning process


* Tracks and monitors manpower requirements and plan for current and future needs


* Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization


* Significant responsibility for the overall Talent Acquisition function, to include recruiting for individual positions


* Handle the daily HR operations for the GES team


* Responsible for all hiring, transfers, and separation actions


* Oversight and accountability for all of the Generalist activities in support of all GES employees


* Provide guidance and support to Program and Functional leadership regarding all matters related to HR


* Maintains affirmative action plan, if applicable


* May participate in professional, industry and community associations to further the Company's name

Basic Qualifications:



* Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years HR generalist experience 


* Knowledge of Human Resources Policy and Employee Relations 


* General knowledge of other HR disciplines; ability to identify situations where programs/policies/procedures cut across functional areas; ability to develop and coordinate appropriate response
