VP Marketing & Sales

Healthy Pet is seeking a highly-motivated, experienced Vice President of Marketing & Sales to join our team.

Healthy Pet is an industry leader in sustainable, natural fiber absorbent substrates for pet products and veterinary services.

We have earned our way to being the top global brand in pet bedding and natural fiber cat litter by producing “best in class” sustainable products without compromising performance.

As a strategic leader of the Executive Team, the VP of Marketing & Sales will help identify short and long term organizational goals and develop effective strategies to drive sales and market share growth.


* Builds, develops and directs an effective sales and marketing force capable of carrying out initiatives to meet organizational objectives.

* Facilitates, coordinates and promotes cooperative cross-functional planning and teamwork.

Identifies trends and problems hindering progress and develops and implements recommendations for resolution.

* Prepares, economically justifies and maintains annual, quarterly and monthly budgets and reports.

Monitors and maintains expenditures within budget guidelines

* Develops sales tools and promotional budgets to meet objectives.

* Develops and manages a product development pipeline consistent with strategic plans.

* Deeply engages in management of key accounts.

* Communicates with internal and external suppliers with an objective of being able to match supply lead time with sales efforts and customer needs.

* Maintains on-going knowledge of the markets where we sell our products.

* Oversees and directs market research and competitor analysis.

Combines communication with customers and market analyses to establish pricing strategies in the context of overall company profits and objectives.

* Utilizes market research to link customer needs to define value propositions, drive brand and product development and marketing communications.

* Oversees development and communication of consumer and trade programs to support the field sales team in achieving revenue objectives.


* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

* Ten years of progressively responsible related experience including five years in marketing management of consumer packaged goods or related products and three years supervisory.

* Pet product category experience preferred.
