HR Operations Project Specialist
This position includes consulting with the HR Centers of Expertise (COE) and Leadership.
TheÂ HR Operations Project SpecialistÂ reports to the HR Operations Project Manager and will play a pivotal role within a high-performing team.
The HR Operations Project Specialist must be a proven self-starter and have the presence, organizational and communication skills necessary to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a variety of individuals.
â€¢ Project leadership/support on talent management related project and activities (projects can change based on business need).
â€¢ Work with the Project Manager to ensure that all aspects of a project are completed at the right time, regardless of challenges that may be encountered.
â€¢ Coordinate and assemble project plan status reporting from workstream leads.
â€¢ Document meeting notes, business processes workflows, test scenarios as necessary.
â€¢ Participate as part of a project team for merger and acquisition related activity (e.g.
â€¢ Identify opportunities for consistency, process improvement and technology implementation.
across HR COEs---Talent Acquisition, Cigna University, Compensation, Benefits and HR Operations.
â€¢ Utilizing independent judgment and discretion, delivers tools to support decision making and compliance with HR policies and programs.
â€¢ Participate in technology and service initiatives to include development and testing of new technology and service delivery solutions
â€¢ Provide support on key steady state operational projects (e.g.
annual enrollment, annual compensation planning) as needed.
â€¢ Must be able to work independently and be able to efficiently manage day-to-day activities.Â
â€¢ Strong communication/consulting/influencing skills, both verbal and written required.Â
â€¢ Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and display a high level of professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information.Â
â€¢ Keen ability to prioritize, ability to deal with ambiguity.Â
â€¢ Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and changingÂ

â€¢ Ability to work independently and with remote team members.Â
â€¢ Technical Skills: Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word & PowerPoint).Â
