Talent Acquisition/HR Business Partner

The San Francisco Chronicle is looking for a Talent Acquisition/HR Business Partner to provide strategic and tactical guidance and support in Talent Management and Talent Acquisition.

The successful candidate must have a proven track record of providing strategic support that focuses on enhancing organizational performance; developing a competent and committed workforce and building organizational capabilities that directly impact business results.

 

What will you do?

 

·         Elevate our local Talent Acquisition and Talent Brand presence through development of an overarching Talent Acquisition strategy, owning the execution of that strategy

·         Provide expertise on all talent management processes and programs, including performance management and training and development;

·         Develop effective sourcing and recruitment processes that attract top talent, including diversity initiatives and partnerships with community based organizations;

·         Assist in the development value added HR strategies that align with business goals that drive business results.

·         Identify best practices and continuous process improvement in the delivery of HR services to the company and make appropriate recommendations within the HR Department;

 

 

What will it take to be successful?

 

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.  Masters degree and/or PHR/SPHR/SHRM Certification a plus.

·         Demonstrated success in talent acquisition, particularly in using social media, active outreach, and various job boards to attract passive candidates and manage active candidates through our process

·         Knowledge and work experience as an HR Generalist with talent management, organizational design, change management, employee relations, performance management, training and development, recruitment & retention, policies and procedures and legal compliance, a plus.

·         A demonstrated track record of building collaborative relationships and lasting business partnerships across all levels of the organization.
