Associate Buyer

•  With the supervision of Buyer or Procurement Supervisor, intiate and deploy a sourcing for tactica categories include capex for $x of limitation across BUs.

• Facilitate implementation and execution of business category strategies across BUs.

•  With the guide of category team and procurement supervisor, execute category strategies with the team for those categories aligned with "local" sourcing responsibility

•  Manage designated supplier relationships

•  Follow-up and assure completion of action items and gap closure.

•  Follow-up and ensure the completion of sites enquiry as per SLAs.

•  Follow-up on delivery and custom is required (coordinated closely with logistic team).

•  Review and optimized systems, PI, KPI

•  Ensure supplier commitment as per contracts and POs.

• Ensure the compliance with SOP especially tax, special permit, government regulation, GP, FCPA and etc.

• Ensure collaboration with sourcing team.

•  Ensure the service contract validity, and communicated to sites for any renewal required.

• Prepare tabulations for bidding process and send out to approvers.

• Ensure final negotiation for every enquiry as per total target.

• Manage TTC category team and communicated effectively with sourcing team, sites, suppliers.

•  Ensure and validity of new supplier as per SOP.

•  Support others team and sharing knowledge for maximum result.

•  Maintain good coordination, communication, and relationship with sites, other departs and vendors.

•   Fully understand the contract term and condition (as per Cargill standards and implement proper document management system.

 

•  Willing to traveling as required.

•  good communication skill

•  Bachelor degree in business, engineering, supply chain, procurement, or other related program

•  3+  years business experience, with minimum of 3 years of relevant experience to the position.

•  Strong interpersonal skills & ability to:

· Engage, communicate & influence senior stakeholders (internal & external)

· Establish trust & credibility with other functional stakeholder

· Effectively lead & manage a small team

• category experience and general supply chain background

• Project management experience

• Demonstrated ability to work with suppliers and drive mutually beneficial solutions

• Results oriented

• Ability to multi-task

• Strong written & verbal communication skills
