Social Media Compliance Analyst

Primerica currently has the following opening in our headquarters located at 1 Primerica Parkway in Duluth, Georgia:

The Social Media Compliance Analyst role is an entry-level position within Primerica’s Corporate Office of Generate Counsel that is responsible for enforcing Primerica's internet and social media policies.  In this entry-level role, the candidate will provide administrative support to senior compliance analysts and will monitor, track and maintain case logs, and respond to online content that is posted by members of the Company’s independent contractor sales force and/or third parties.  The Social Media Compliance Analyst will contact representatives to rectify non-compliant online activity and will support on-going review of content with potential compliance violations, subject to FINRA, SEC, and other regulatory requirements.  The candidate will initiate follow-up action for any content determined to be in violation of Company or regulatory guidelines, including performing preliminary investigations, opening cases, drafting correspondence outlining compliance concerns, data entry, incident tracking, and case escalation, as necessary.  This role is a great introduction to legal/compliance role within a Financial Service Company.  The Social Media Compliance Analyst is a self-starter who is able to manage their time and workload, but also integrates well as part of a collaborative team.  Salary is $40k with excellent benefits.

Qualifications:



* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience preferred


* Series 6 license and 26 licenses required (or obtained within 90 days of hire; paid for by the Company)


* Excellent research and analytical skills


* Excellent verbal and written and assertive communication skills


* Advanced knowledge of the internet, various social media sites and related functionality


* Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


* Flexible and able to manage priorities effectively


* Ability to self-initiate and coordinate tasks


* Ability to identify problematic issues and escalate cases to senior analysts when necessary


* Excellent project management and organizational skills


* Ability to work on multiple projects with competing priorities


* Ability to work independently and in group settings
