Contract Analyst


To support the Cranial Neurosurgery Team as well as the Pelvic Health and ENT team EMEA, to drive processes of contracting and interactions with external customers, ensuring compliance rules are met and secured over time.

Daily activities may include interaction with high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive information requiring considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment.


Manage physician contracts.

Ensure accurate supporting documentation of physician consulting services and make arrangements in strict compliance with relevant country laws and Medtronic policy.

Plan future interactions in advance, plan contracting work required, engage internal stakeholders in time to allow properly perform all administrative steps, including signatures and approvals at the customer and hospital institution level

Manage invoicing (create PR/PO through ECATS) for department cost centers as well as accruals and coordinating quarterly forecast roll-ups for department.

Create, manage and follow up legal and compliance documents with health care providers required.

Administer processes for documenting physician trainings and certifications.

Establish and maintain best in class service levels for contract work.

Engage broader team to ensure continuous improvement.

Filing and archiving of compliance documents.

Support for department or team projects as assigned.

Backup for other assistant during vacation and/or heavy workload.

Undertake all tasks as assigned by the manager


Strong planning, organizational and negotiation skills

Results/Solutions oriented, fast learner (can do attitude)

Ability to multi task in complex organizations, with demanding workload, and react adequately to changing priorities

Fluent in English and French

Good interpersonal and diplomacy skills

Computer skills (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook)

Familiar with eCATS system operations would be an advantageWe are looking for someone who is able to work independently, adaptable and as part of a team.

Requirements to be capable of focusing and deliver in a high pressure and complex matrix environment, while being able to build and develop good relationships.

The basics:

Fluent English

High School diploma or equivalent

Formal computer training

Desktop publishing

Working knowledge of Internet

CPS certification or other formal education

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
