Nemours is seeking a Sr.

Technical Architect (FULL-TIME) to join our Nemours Children's Hospital team in Orlando, Florida.

​Located in Orlando, Fla., Nemours Children’s Hospital is the newest addition to the Nemours integrated healthcare system.

Our 100-bed pediatric hospital also features the area’s only 24-hour Emergency Department designed just for kids as well as outpatient pediatric clinics including several specialties previously unavailable in the region.

In keeping with our goal of bringing Nemours care into the communities we serve, we also provide specialty outpatient care in several clinics located throughout the region.

Job Duties

This position will develop, integrate, build, and help maintain daily operations of the Technical Operations Center.

 The technical operations group has responsibility for the Nemours datacenters, network operations center, physical security and sets/enforces IT infrastructure standards as it relates to datacenter technology.  This position has extensive knowledge of system design and an array of information technologies.

This position will evaluate and recommend technologies required to fulfill the IT needs of the organization while complying with the enterprise-level infrastructure architecture and design principles.

This position will assist in setting the direction and design for system technologies.

This position requires the individual to possess skills or knowledge regarding system monitoring, reporting, auditing of system events, system services, applications, and network/telecom technologies.  This role will provide procedures, governance and solution options for Information Systems departments as well as provide guidance for updating Infrastructure hardware.

 The Technical Operations analyst will assist in providing guidance to IS and management on operational issues.  This includes delivering education, setting data center standards, conducting security investigations, and mitigating potential infrastructure downtimes or events.
