Position Overview

Individual performs a wide variety of accounting and clerical responsibilities within the Construction Department including financial analysis and data entry.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)



* Project reconciliations ensuring appropriate revenue recognition.


* Work closely with project managers and superintendents to reconcile daily quantities reported to accounting system.


* Subcontractor payments and reconciliations to reported quantities.


* Review daily financial reports, question and interact with PMs.


* Weekly financial trend review meetings with area managers.


* Cross train with contract administrators.


* Create POs.


* Month end entries and reconciliations.


* Other duties as requested.


* Adhere to any and all state and federal regulations, if applicable, as set forth by the US Department of Transportation (DOT), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), or any other regulatory agency.

* Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.


* Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.


* Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.


* Report to the assigned job site in uniform and ready to begin work at the designated start time.


* Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Environmental, Health & Safety Manual.


* Strict adherence to policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Manual.


* Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required. 


* Must comply with company safety engagement policies.
