Hilton Honors Lounge Attendant 1st Shift (Full- Time)

Job Description


JOB TITLE:              Breakfast Attendant


DEPARTMENT:      Hilton Honors


Position requires availability to work 1st Shift (4:30AM/5:00AM TO 12:30/1PM).


POSITION PURPOSE: To provide service of food and/or beverage to all Hilton Honors Guests in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner. 



1.      Set up buffet table for all breakfast items.

Ensure proper quality and quantity.

2.      Set up coffee station and replenish as needed.

3.      Pick up food from kitchen and return unused to kitchen at end of shift.

4.      Obtain newspapers for guests.

5.      Check station before, during, and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.

6.      Greet the guest in a friendly and courteous manner.

7.      Obtain all HH coupons.

Ensure guest signs back of coupon for tracking information.

8.      Utilize the guest’s name as much as possible.

9.      Input the order into the Point of Sale computer.

10.  Abide by all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.

11.  Interact and provide necessary service to guest.

12.  Maintain a positive attitude throughout shift.

13.  Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction.

14.  Always thank guest and invite them to return.

15.  Clear and reset all tables.

16.  Perform all assigned side work to include replenishing condiments and restocking service areas.

17.  Maintain condition and cleanliness of work area.

18.  Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health standards.

19.  Tear down all buffet stations and realign tables for the Lounge.

20.  Stock all buffet items in proper areas.

21.  Lock up all décor items in proper areas.

22.  Perform any other duties as assigned.



1.                  Ability to maintain standards for service, steps of service and all departmental standards.

2.                  Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.

3.                  Knowledge of the appropriate table settings, service ware, and menu items.

4.                  Ability to read, write, and speak the English language sufficient to understand menus, special promotions, record orders, communicate with guests to explain and record orders.

5.                  Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items.

6.                  Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30 lbs.

through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout shift.
